High back draughtsman chair with a  mesh back and fabric upholstered seat. With a full height  14" gas lift and adjustable foot ring. Offering all-day comfort with a high back and tilt lock mechanism,  providing  flexibility and functionality. With flip up arms allowing the user to chose when arm rests are used or just fold up for easier chair storage underneath a bench or counter.

The seat height ranges from 570mm to 800mm giving a wide range of seating positions depending on your worktop/counter height.

Mechanism
A tilt lock mechanism controls the seat height and seat tilt which can be locked in an upright position or left to free-float.  A torsion control knob means the tilt tension can be adjusted to suit the user's body weight.

About Castors and Glides

Glides:  Glides are flat feet fitted to the base of the chair rather than castors that you would normally see on an office chair. These are used on chairs that do not generally require movement and for safer operating on draughtsman chairs.

Standard Castors:  These are the same as castors you would see on most office chairs.

Soft Castors:  Castors with a hard rubber edge on the wheels to help with grip and help the castors to roll rather than slide on hard floors such as tiles or laminate floors.

Brake Loaded Castors:  These allow the chair to be freely moved around as with standard castors when no one is sitting on the chair. When there is weight on the chair, a brake is applied to the castor wheels and prevents the chair from moving. This helps with safety to prevent the chair from sliding forwards or backwards if the 'user' leans to far one way or the other but allows the chair to be moved easily when no one is seated.

Soft Brake Loaded Castors:  A combination of Brake Loaded and Soft Castors.
