Draughtsman chair with a stylish curved back and curved waterfall seat offering ergonomic comfort. This chair is fully upholstered from a range of fabrics which also includes upholstery to the rear of the backrest.   Complete with a cushioned seat and back. A fully height adjustable chrome and foot ring for user comfort. The back of the chair has a height adjustable ratchet system which can be positioned to suit the user and then easily adjusted when required.

Mechanism
With a synchro mechanism as standard which allows the back angle to tilt 2 degrees to every 1 degree of the seat.

Castors/Glides
Supplied with glides as standard.    Please see options and information below for various castors and glides available.   Please note that adding castors to draughtsman chairs may contravene health and safety and are added at your own risk.

About Castors and Glides

Glides: Glides are flat feet fitted to the base of the chair rather than castors that you would normally see on an office chair. These are used on chairs that do not generally require movement and for safer operating on draughtsman chairs.

Standard Castors: These are the same as castors you would see on most office chairs.

Soft Castors: Castors with a hard rubber edge on the wheels to help with grip and help the castors to roll rather than slide on hard floors such as tiles or laminate floors.

Brake Loaded Castors: These allow the chair to be freely moved around as with standard castors when no one is sitting on the chair. When there is weight on the chair, a brake is applied to the castor wheels and prevents the chair from moving. This helps with safety to prevent the chair from sliding forwards or backwards if the 'user' leans to far one way or the other but allows the chair to be moved easily when no one is seated.

Soft Brake Loaded Castors: A combination of Brake Loaded and Soft Castors.

Options
A seat slide mechanism (to allow the user to slide the seat forwards or backwards for the perfect seating position) and fixed or adjustable arms are also available as options.    Please note that adding a seat slide will increase the seat height by approximately 30mm.
